I think XFCE is a desktop environment that can help me to give at least one or two more years to this friend of mine. Therefore, I'm thinking about Xubuntu or Manjaro XFCE. I don't exactly know why, but I have screen tearing problems with some distros like Lubuntu, for instance (But Ubuntu works perfectly).
